

Inside Business Franchise is a directory for buying franchises and also provide news and insight on the franchise industry. The website needed some urgent redesign a few weeks prior to its launch into it's new system. My roll is to solve some user experience issues and updates its user interface design in critical areas on both mobile and desktop such as search, category page, brand profile page and mobile menu page.

Due to the urgency and tight time schedule only data gathered is via client feedbacks and self performed observational study. These data were mapped and made sense via affinity diagram.
The redesign process aimed at addressing two main issues that echoed through the affinity diagram. They are visual inconsistencies in key functions and pages such as the navigation, home page, categories and brand profiles pages. Also in combination with the visual inconsistencies there are a lot of opportunities to mislead the user through mislabeling, incoherent layout and not giving user feedbacks in key components of the website such as the search function, categories listing and navigation.







The redesigned Inside Business Franchise website is currently been implemented. With further design iteration to come. One aspect of the iteration aimed at addressing web responsiveness. Through redesign of the grid layout and use of more constant image ratio.
